Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benito Orain kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Elazar got free with Fermin Guerrero in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filomeno Micael's late challenge caught a Godoy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Micael helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Godoy FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Benito Orain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Dominix succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. 18 minutes into the match, Benito Orain notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Belgrano's Severino Cebo. Severino Cebo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Orain in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Cebo saved Belgrano from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Amado Espiridion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Cebo. Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Espiridion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano's goalkeeper Severino Cebo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Benito Orain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Severino Cebo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 minutes, Benito Orain made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Belgrano's Severino Cebo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Benito Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Cebo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Benito Orain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Severino Cebo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Nicanor Elazar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Lino Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Dante Dominix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Cruz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Benito Orain had several of the Belgrano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Severino Cebo as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Elazar in the 77th minute of play forced Godoy FC's goalkeeper Fermin Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benito Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 played minutes Niceto Haritz rounded Belgrano's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Belgrano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Benito Orain scored to the left of an out of position Severino Cebo, making the score, 1-8. If Nicanor Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godoy FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
