Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Illan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teodoro Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Demesio in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Alejandro Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. millenium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avestruz FC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Alejandro Menendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Ricart was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Horacio Lapurdi. 10 minutes into the game, Roni de Pelsmaecker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. millenium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avestruz FC the free kick. In the 18th minute, Victorio Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Avestruz FC booed when millenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Demesio took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Ricart. Teodoro Ricart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Demesio in the 27th minute of play forced Avestruz FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Ricart came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by millenium's Silvestre Demesio. But to his dismay, Silvestre Demesio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Leopoldo Illan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Avestruz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Illan couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Demesio charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Demesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes millenium got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Demesio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Rolando Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Avestruz FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Havier. After 57th play minutes Silvestre Demesio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Teodoro Ricart and just under the crossbar into goal. After 60 played minutes Avestruz FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Paskal. Anacleto Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias James. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Illans short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Elias James to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Roni de Pelsmaecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Sikalopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Oinatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Teodoro Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Silvestre Demesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Stratos Sikalopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in millenium's zone, Danilo Frechoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias James came out of the goal and Danilo Frechoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Anacleto Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avestruz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Avestruz FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
