The referee ignored Escape Libre's protests and gave Cecilio Romo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Escape Libre got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Romo. Reynaldo Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Carmelo Herrera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Eulalio Caitano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute, Silvano Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Rivero. Escape Libre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Inocencio Vitin's late challenge caught a Orán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Vitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute Nemesio Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Regis took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Rivero. Reynaldo Rivero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Reynaldo Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Atauri in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Orán getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Amancio Astrada hit a great ball. Eulalio Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Pancho in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Escape Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Regis came free, but Reynaldo Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Herrera got free with Eulalio Caitano in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Escape Libre's Reynaldo Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Atauri in the 41st minute of play. Placido Regis succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Urtats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Escape Libre fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Escape Libre's Apolo Pancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 55th match minute, Orán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Guzman to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Carmelo Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orán's goalkeeper Eulalio Caitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reynaldo Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Pancho in the 65th minute of play forced Orán's goalkeeper Eulalio Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Placido Regis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynaldo Rivero. Placido Regis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Onbera during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Pancho in the 78th minute of play forced Orán's goalkeeper Eulalio Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Orán's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Pancho came free, but Eulalio Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
