Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zapala's Adrian Lauro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 9 minutes, Esteban Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tapias's Generoso Prejun got control of the ball when Esteban Elixio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Joey during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucio Joey hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lucio Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Primo having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Feliciano Ilazki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Cristian Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zapala's Esteban Elixio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Roque Tiadoro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Primo. Generoso Prejun made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Esteban Elixio sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tapias! Esteban Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Elixio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Prejun. Generoso Prejun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Roque Tiadoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Primo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Joey was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tapias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Joey to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Elixio might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Prejun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Elixio ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Esteban Elixio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Prejun. Tapias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Elixio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Esteban Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Prejun having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Esteban Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Esteban Elixio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zapala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Elixio couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Zapala's Esteban Elixio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Prejun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tapias's Generoso Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Elixio in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapias's goalkeeper Generoso Prejun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucio Joey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
