Polvaredas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Impacto Marplatense the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Polvaredas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. Impacto Marplatense:s goal. With an all-out effort, C.A. Impacto Marplatense's Gualterio Maju threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julio Rayman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute of the match C.A. Impacto Marplatense got a corner. Polvaredas AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonzalo Eskuin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafael Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Polvaredas AFC's zone, Rafael Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Maju came out of the goal and Rafael Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Rafael Quirce in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Julio Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gualterio Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes C.A. Impacto Marplatense got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Eskuin. 47 minutes into the game, Polvaredas AFC's Blas Tanio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentinos Kerkopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Quirce made the kick off in the second half. Blas Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentinos Kerkopoulos having to interfere. If Rafael Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Domingos Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Impacto Marplatense's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Polvaredas AFC's Victorino Kaiet got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When C.A. Impacto Marplatense's Valentinos Kerkopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Bonifaco in the 77th minute of play. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as C.A. Impacto Marplatense had held the ball for most of the match.
