Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeronimo Menendo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Universo booed when Ezpeleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Siggesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Claudio Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Angel Roldanillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ezpeleta the free kick. A collision led to Universo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Angel Roldanillo hit a great ball. Robin Siggesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Cambranes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Tibalt during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Severo Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Cambranes having to interfere. Melquiades Cambranes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Mariano Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezpeleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Universo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Cristofor in the 42nd minute of play. Ezpeleta's Octavio Aritza was substituted for Mariano Firmin. 46 minutes into the match, Ezpeleta's Claudio Cristofor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Cambranes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Cristofor made a kick off. If Jeronimo Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Robin Siggesson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Cambranes, 0-1. Moises Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Menendo in the 60th minute of play. In the 70th minute Angel Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Karlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Angel Roldanillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Karlo. Ezpeleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Roldanillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Melquiades Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Melquiades Cambranes managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ezpeleta's Claudio Cristofor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Niceto Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ezpeleta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Tomi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Claudio Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezpeleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeronimo Menendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Karlo having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, Universo's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Cristofor came free, but Melquiades Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Ezpeleta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Universo.
