With a left leg Aristide Velicu saved Monasterio FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ezpeleta defense, Nicolas Cordario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Karlo. The Ezpeleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Karlo should have stopped the shot. Moises Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Cordario in the 20th minute of play. The referee showed William Håning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ezpeleta getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Moises Karlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Argina in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Claudio Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Velicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Cordario in the 70th minute of play forced Ezpeleta's goalkeeper Moises Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Janusz Furtok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Ezpeleta got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Cristofor. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Furtok during the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Ezpeleta's William Håning got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Esteve Janpier's late challenge caught a Ezpeleta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Esteve Janpier hit a great ball. William Håning struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Aristide Velicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ezpeleta. Aristide Velicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 99th minute.
