Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeronimo Menendo made the kick off which started today's match. Aristide Velicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Menendo in the 4th minute of play. Janusz Furtok scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Cambranes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Universo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Saturnin in the 21st minute of play forced Universo's goalkeeper Melquiades Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Janusz Furtok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Furtok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Cambranes having to interfere. Melquiades Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th match minute, Monasterio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Colas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nicolas Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monasterio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Cambranes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Nicolas Cordario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Universo's Melquiades Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Janpier in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Universo's zone, Esteve Janpier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Cambranes came out of the goal and Esteve Janpier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Monasterio FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Cordario to make the kick off. Iordache Ulici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Melquiades Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janusz Furtok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Cambranes having to interfere. Nicolas Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Cambranes having to make a save. Nicolas Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Melquiades Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Aristide Velicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Menendo in the 72nd minute of play. Melquiades Cambranes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Furtok in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Furtok during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Janusz Furtok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Velicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Menendo in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Monasterio FC booed when Universo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicolas Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Cordarios short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Melquiades Cambranes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Janusz Furtok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
