The referee ignored ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄'s protests and gave Pastor Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. Pastor Rexino hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Ubaldo Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Pastor Rexino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teodosio Birjaio. ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄'s Ubaldo Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, one of RIVER PLATE AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teodosio Birjaio had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Epifanio Frederik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Rexino got free with Teodosio Birjaio in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Enmanuel in the 34th minute of the match. Domingo Henrico's late challenge caught a RIVER PLATE AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Henrico helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Henrico hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Zacarias Enmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Dorio having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄'s goalkeeper Hector Dorio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE AFC's Teodosio Birjaio got control of the ball when Pastor Rexino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Ubaldo Chorche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Birjaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Enmanuel to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄ booed when RIVER PLATE AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes RIVER PLATE AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Rami. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Rexino in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Birjaio saved RIVER PLATE AFC from getting behind. If Ubaldo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄'s Pastor Rexino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Birjaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Chorche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Birjaio was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Lázaro Feliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Hector Dorio made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zacarias Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVER PLATE AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Enmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Dorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pastor Rexino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ❄ c α ℓ α f α т є ❄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Rexino couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Pastor Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lázaro Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
