Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nemesio Clemencin made the kick off which started today's match. Justo Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Clemencin in the 4th minute of play. Mauricio Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Albino Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauricio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Justo Odilon came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chimborazo FC's Bernardino Elixio. But to his dismay, Bernardino Elixio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Justo Odilon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Elixio in the 25th minute. After 40 played minutes Arias got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Lore. In the 44th minute of the match Chimborazo FC got a corner. Arias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Vermudo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Raul Vermudo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Odilon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leopoldo Bitxintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55thth minute of the game Nemesio Clemencin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arias's Justo Odilon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Arias getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nicanor Marcones hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Raul Vermudo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Odilon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Atilano Bakar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albino Maxin. The goal made the score 1-1. Albino Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Rodriguez in the 73rd minute of the match. Atilano Bakar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Albino Maxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 76th minute, Mauricio Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Odilon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Elixio went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Leopoldo Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Arias's Remigio Liberto got a free kick in the 84th minute. Bernardino Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Justo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Atilano Bakar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Albino Maxin managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Arias's Atilano Bakar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chimborazo FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Arias had controlled the match.
