Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Mateo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Tartalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ismael Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Leon Castel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Anastasio Tartalo came out of the goal and Ismael Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Tomás Mateo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anastasio Tartalo. The goal made the score 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. boca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
