Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fermin Matei took the kick off in the first half of the match. Severiano Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 7 in the game by Fermin Matei from a close distance when the talented Hilario Gudesteo managed to make a qualified save. Matancilla's players were relieved. In the 9thth minute of the game Fermin Matei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matancilla's Hilario Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Matancilla got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Tiniebra. Fermin Matei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Hilario Gudesteo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Kemen in the 19th minute of play forced Tambillos's goalkeeper Cesar Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Manuel Mannie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tambillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matancilla the free kick. In the 21st minute, Manuel Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Urtzi came free, but Cesar Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Gudesteo having to interfere. Tambillos's attentive Rodolfo Jurgi managed to snatch the ball when Julio Ponce made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Fermin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Guillermo Tiniebra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matancilla and the Tambillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Matancilla got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Tiniebra. 36 minutes into the match, Fermin Matei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Gudesteo. Matancilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Matei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Tambillos's Manuel Mannie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Cesar Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Urtzi in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Elodio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matancilla's Federico Elodio got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes in the game Melchor Dalmu got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Velasco to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Urtzi got free with Cesar Olayo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Kemen in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Manuel Mannie hit a great ball. Bernabe Urtzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cesar Olayo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goalkeeper Cesar Olayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Urtzi. A collision led to Matancilla getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Julio Ponce hit a great ball. Cesar Olayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tambillos's Cesar Olayo got control of the ball when Bernabe Urtzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Tiniebra in the 68th minute. Tambillos's Cesar Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Kemen in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Manuel Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Matei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Gudesteo having to make a save. In the 83rd match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Jurgi to maneuver through the defense.
