Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Pitin in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Toribio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Videl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Fe in the 7th minute. Flavio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Vestberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Videl having to interfere. Gogo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Pitin in the 20th minute of play. Gogo Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. John Vestberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nicanor Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.C.San Martin's Gogo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Oskitz in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poetas Del Cesped II's Nicanor Fernado got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute John Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Poetas Del Cesped II's Flavio Videl got control of the ball when Jacinto Fe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Videl made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jacinto Fe sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Fe got free with Flavio Videl in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jacinto Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Rosario was the one to do the kick off. Poetas Del Cesped II's Flavio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Vestberg in the 54th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Poetas Del Cesped II:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.C.San Martin:s goal. After a rather tough play, Poetas Del Cesped II's Matias Raymon got a free kick in the 61st minute. Matias Raymon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jacinto Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Norino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gogo Toribio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Pitin in the 73rd minute of play forced A.C.San Martin's goalkeeper Gogo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Poetas Del Cesped II defense, John Vestberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Videl. The Poetas Del Cesped II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Videl should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Samuel Rosario notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of A.C.San Martin's Gogo Toribio. Gogo Toribio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Poetas Del Cesped II's Venancio Porfiro was substituted for Amancio Pitin. Gogo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Esteve Norino made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Toribio. A.C.San Martin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Flavio Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Fe in the 92nd minute of the match. If Lorenzo Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Samuel Rosario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Toribio was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Mauro Cibran struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gogo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poetas Del Cesped II. Gogo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Cibran in the 98th minute of the match.
