John Vestberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute John Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, A.C.San Martin's John Vestberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Playo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Charly´s Club 's goal looked a bit too open when John Vestberg came free, but Romulo Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Toribio was a little too slow when Orlando Jacindo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. After 25 minutes, John Vestberg made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Charly´s Club 's Romulo Playo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, A.C.San Martin's Jacinto Fe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Playo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a rather tough play, A.C.San Martin's Nilson Paraíba got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Orlando Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gogo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Mirande's late challenge caught a Charly´s Club 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Mirande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Niceto Mirande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Horacio Urtungo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Toribio skillfully saved the ball. Gogo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Jacindo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, A.C.San Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Tono to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nilson Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Vestberg in the 54th minute of play forced Charly´s Club 's goalkeeper Romulo Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, John Vestberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C.San Martin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After 63 played minutes Charly´s Club got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Ignazio. Niceto Mirande did an outstanding performance 70 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-6 to the right of an irritated Romulo Playo in the goal. Jacinto Fe struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Romulo Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C.San Martin. After 77 played minutes John Vestberg rounded Charly´s Club 's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jacinto Fe took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Romulo Playo to make any attempt to save it. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Horacio Urtungo with Orlando Jacindo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 88th match minute, Charly´s Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Playo was a little too slow when John Vestberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-9. A.C.San Martin played a much better game than Charly´s Club and deserved their victory. The Charly´s Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
