An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Batista in the 4th minute of play forced La Naranja Mecánica's goalkeeper Bartolo Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Patora having to interfere. When Martin Rozarius fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quid pro quo's protests and gave Martin Rozarius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Martin Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecánica's Hugo Izel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Czeslaw Patora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Naranja Mecánica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Quid pro quo a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lars Rast, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Naranja Mecánica's Bartolo Chabier. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Quid pro quo's Danilo Licerio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hugo Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Naranja Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Czeslaw Patora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to La Naranja Mecánica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alex Rosado hit a great ball. Generoso Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Quid pro quo got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Jerardo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Izel made a kick off. If Fernan Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Izel in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Czeslaw Patora saved Quid pro quo from getting behind. Hugo Izel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Czeslaw Patora 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, La Naranja Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Lars Rast shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Chabier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartolo Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Matias Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Czeslaw Patora showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of La Naranja Mecánica booed when Quid pro quo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Ramoser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quid pro quo's Ildefonso Lizar got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Chabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Ramoser in the 91st minute of the match. Hugo Izel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Czeslaw Patora 95 minutes into the match. La Naranja Mecánica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
