After 3 minutes, Ladislao Rios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echagüe FC and the Ñorquín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ñorquín booed when Echagüe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Echagüe FC's Ismael Manni got a free kick in the 5th minute. Severino Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Florinio in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Ñorquín's Conrado Truylos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rafael Diegotxe struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Roberto Leoncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echagüe FC. A hard shot by Flavio Baristo from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Severino Senin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Abaurre got free with Severino Senin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Leoncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Echagüe FC's Rafael Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Diegotxe took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Leoncio. Roberto Leoncio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Fernanco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Leoncio. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. With his leg Roberto Leoncio managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Echagüe FC's Patricio Karmel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Patricio Karmel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Leoncio, 1-3. Roberto Leoncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Diegotxe in the 65th minute of the match. Severino Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
