Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvio Bento kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Froilan Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Cachiyuyu's Erubiel Izotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Fonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Erubiel Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Fonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Ramiro Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MTA FC were furious when Alberto Roldanillo was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Baldomero Fonso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyu's Benigno Gagriel. But to his dismay, Benigno Gagriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Silvio Bento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lino Santikurtz, 1-2. Filiberto Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cachiyuyu booed when MTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Cachiyuyu's Erubiel Izotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Fonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Baldomero Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Izotz in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Izotz was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Etxatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Fonso came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramiro Etxatxu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Izotz in the 57th minute of play forced MTA FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Tab succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 60th playminute. Silvio Bento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Ramiro Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Argina took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Fonso. Baldomero Fonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Froilan Argina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Baldomero Fonso made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Erubiel Izotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MTA FC the free kick. Inocencio Fernado charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Fernado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the game, one of Cachiyuyu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cachiyuyu:s Lino Santikurtz showed great skill when he stopped Vinicio Sancho:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyu's Ramiro Etxatxu got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Cachiyuyu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MTA FC throughout the match.
