Benjamin Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Amauri Zanette reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvio Lehior. The goal made the score 1-0. Benjamin Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Quintun in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Dario Di Girolamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINOCHO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Di Girolamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Váldson Brodel got free with Elvio Lehior in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ombú AFC's Cipriano Lleir got a free kick in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Dario Di Girolamo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Elvio Lehior to make any attempt to save it. Benjamin Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ombú AFC's Elvio Lehior got control of the ball when Santo Gasteiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Santo Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PINOCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Gasteiz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Santo Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ombú AFC defense, Váldson Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Lehior. The Ombú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Lehior should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Ombú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Gasteiz came free, but Elvio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Ombú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Amor to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, PINOCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Peter came free, but Benjamin Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ombú AFC's Elvio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Beat in the 75th minute of play. Gaston Manny struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Elvio Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PINOCHO. Elvio Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eulalio Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dario Di Girolamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PINOCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Di Girolamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, PINOCHO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Gasteiz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Lehior saved Ombú AFC from getting behind. Váldson Brodel took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Lehior. Elvio Lehior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 95 played minutes PINOCHO got a freekick which was hit by Santo Gasteiz. PINOCHO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
