Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Quintun took the kick off in the first half of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Pastor Bide notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ombú AFC's Elvio Lehior. Elvio Lehior was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pastor Bide took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Lehior. Elvio Lehior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Camilo Lesardo's late challenge caught a Cieneguita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Ombú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Lesardo. In the 25th minute, Tomás Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Pastor Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Cordeara hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Bide during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 41 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Quintun came free, but Sixto Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pastor Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cieneguita FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

59 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Quintun came free, but Sixto Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Gutxi's late challenge caught a Ombú AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Gutxi helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Gutxi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Pastor Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Quintun came free, but Sixto Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Bide in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Lehior saved Ombú AFC from getting behind. In the 71st minute Tomás Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cieneguita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
