The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedicto Javiero hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tizona's Clemente Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Quinito in the 11th minute of play. If Carolo Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Baumer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jeronimo Asteri struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Clemente Vigil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Nacional Bilardista. 20 minutes into the game, Prospero Quinten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Nacional Bilardista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tizona the free kick. After 20 played minutes Club Nacional Bilardista got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Quinten. In the 22nd minute, Paulo Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Club Nacional Bilardista's Carolo Quinito in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tizona's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Agustin Teofilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Gavino Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Teofilio was the one to do the kick off. If Daniel Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Rius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ovidio Rius in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tizona's Sixto Egoitz. 66 minutes into the match, Tizona's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Quinito came free, but Clemente Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tizona getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gavino Velasco hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Club Nacional Bilardista's Carolo Quinito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Vigil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Tizona's goalkeeper Clemente Vigil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Quinito. In the 72nd match minute, Tizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Silvestre Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jeronimo Asteri from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Clemente Vigil's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 82 minutes in the game Silvestre Aritza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silvestre Dominguez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Quinito got free with Clemente Vigil in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tizona's zone, Prospero Quinten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Vigil came out of the goal and Prospero Quinten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Quinito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Clemente Vigil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tizona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeronimo Asteri was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Nacional Bilardista's players had a chance to rest. Jeronimo Asteri made a great header on Club Nacional Bilardista's corner, it was just that Tizona's Clemente Vigil managed to reach the ball for a save. When Club Nacional Bilardista's Carolo Quinito in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
