Ivan Erdiano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Florentino Gelacio. In the 16th minute Carolo Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Carolo Bermund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino George came out of the goal and Carolo Bermund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carolo Bermund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino George was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Serafino George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Bermund in the 27th minute of the match. Nunez Crispo's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Crispo helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Crispo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carolo Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Hurko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Serafino George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Bieito was the one to do the kick off. Hickman's Nunez Crispo got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Nunez Crispo off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Asteri in the 89th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Serafino George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Beturian hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Leonel Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hickman were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Talleres's much stronger midfield.
