Gerardo Rutenio succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Gerardo Rutenio struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Bernardo Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carril FC. In the 16th minute of the game Alonzo Mergildo made a throw-in which Narciso Urtsua played forward. Gerardo Rutenio might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Rutenio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Pedro Abeijon made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Gaskon. El Campito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Narciso Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El Campito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Urtsua couldn't finish the play. The supporters of El Campito booed when Carril FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Pedro Abeijon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of El Campito's Bernardo Gaskon. Bernardo Gaskon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the game, Bilge Kağan Olgaç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bernardo Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 minutes of play, El Campito's Narciso Urtsua made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Carril FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gerardo Rutenio made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Fabio Ruisko notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Carril FC's Sixto Abastas. Sixto Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Rutenio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bernardo Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Bilge Kağan Olgaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carril FC and the El Campito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bilge Kağan Olgaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Gaskon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Naelio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Urtsua in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carril FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
