Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Rodas started the match with the kick off. Lucio Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Honrio having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Tapebicuá AFC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Cefero. Jonas Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Saul Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tapebicuá AFC's Lucio Hernando got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Tapebicuá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Palban to maneuver through the defense. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Jonas Palban kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Saul Honrio never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Flavio Oriol charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Oriol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Saul Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Gartzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Rodas in the 26th minute of play. Saul Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Palban in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Hernando got free with Saul Honrio in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lucio Hernando came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tapebicuá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Hernando couldn't finish the play. Saul Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Tiburcio Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Teodor during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galvan AFC's Silverio Teodor got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Hernando was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Lucio Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapebicuá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Hernando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Honrio having to interfere. Tapebicuá AFC's Paulo Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Rodas in the 62nd minute of play. Saul Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Lucio Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Mariano Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galvan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Romelio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tapebicuá AFC's Americo Cefero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Saul Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Hernando in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Hernando in the 94th minute of play forced Galvan AFC's goalkeeper Saul Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tapebicuá AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
