Valentin Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Honrio in the 19th minute of the match. Luciano Dalmu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ignacio Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. When Paulo Iztal fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiñihual FC's protests and gave Paulo Iztal a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the game, Eloy Deunoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Valentin Remir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeledon Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valentin Remir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Quiñihual FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Natanael to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Quiñihual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Satordi came free, but Valentin Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Alejandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Henry to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Betadur in the 44th minute of play forced Quiñihual FC's goalkeeper Valentin Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Eloy Deunoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Remir. Quiñihual FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Deunoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Zeledon Betadur made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Zeledon Betadur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Remir. The goal made the score 0-3. 63 minutes into the match, Augusto Honrio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Dalmu. Alejandra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Honrio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The supporters of Alejandra booed when Quiñihual FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Quiñihual FC's Rogelio Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Dalmu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Birjaio got free with Valentin Remir in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Remir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Deunoro in the 75th minute. During the 80th minute of the match Paulo Iztal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paulo Iztal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Quiñihual FC's Paulo Iztal got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Quiñihual FC defense, Zeledon Betadur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Remir. The Quiñihual FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Remir should have stopped the shot. Valentin Remir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Deunoro in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quiñihual FC's zone, Eloy Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Remir came out of the goal and Eloy Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes of play, Alejandra's Arsenio Birjaio made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Remir was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Quiñihual FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Madaleno. Valentin Remir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eloy Deunoro. When the final whistle sounded Alejandra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quiñihual FC.
