When Ernesto Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alberti AFC's protests and gave Ernesto Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. Justino Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chaco for ever's Pedrinho Pontes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ladislao Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Oso in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Chaco for ever's goalkeeper Nunez Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Serapio. If Arsenio Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justino Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Justino Etxekopar made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Nunez Iban made a throw-in which Anastasio Pitin played forward. If Justino Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Oskarbi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Montae in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Emilio Montae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaco for ever's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alberti AFC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Emilio Montae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcelo Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberti AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marcelo Serapio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Gartxot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Serapio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Justino Aimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Gartxot having to interfere.
