The supporters of Villa Ballester FC booed when Richmond FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Villa Ballester FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Delmiro Conrao hit a great ball. Jacobo Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Indar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.
