Robustiano Nicholas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Gai in the 3rd minute of play forced Invernadas's goalkeeper Dante Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Gar in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Imperiale saved Movistar Team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Movistar Team's Urbano Afonso got a free kick in the 18th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Invernadas's Robustiano Nicholas tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Urbano Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Beturian came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Movistar Team's Wilfredo Gai. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elias Gar took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesare Imperiale. Cesare Imperiale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Elias Gar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Imperiale having to interfere. With a little luck, Movistar Team's Cesare Imperiale got control of the ball when Elias Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rodolfo Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Cucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Camerino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Gar in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Imperiale saved Movistar Team from getting behind. Invernadas's Artemio Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Elias Gar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Movistar Team's Cesare Imperiale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Joel Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Imperiale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodolfo Camerino hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Camerino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Beturian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Elias Gar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Imperiale having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Movistar Team's zone, Marcelo Sansone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Imperiale came out of the goal and Marcelo Sansone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Rodolfo Camerino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Beturian. The goal made the score 1-2. Dante Beturian came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Movistar Team's Andrea Cucci. But to his dismay, Andrea Cucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 93 minutes into the match, Invernadas's goalkeeper Dante Beturian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Cucci. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Invernadas lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
