In the 10th minute, Valentin Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes of play, chexico birds's Anacleto Ourente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Elizardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prudencio Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Francisco Machado managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Estudiantes de La Plata's Valentin Guter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 29 minutes, Mauricio Salvadore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de La Plata and the chexico birds players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Estudiantes de La Plata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaudencio Urtats's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Francisco Machado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tebaldo came free, but Prudencio Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match, Valentin Guter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Machado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute Gaudencio Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Estudiantes de La Plata's Valentin Guter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estudiantes de La Plata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chexico birds the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Ourente got free with Prudencio Elizardo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of chexico birds booed when Estudiantes de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Gaudencio Urtats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but chexico birds's Francisco Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 minutes, Gaudencio Urtats made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. chexico birds's Francisco Machado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Urtats's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Adan Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Elizardo having to interfere. Prudencio Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Anacleto Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. chexico birds's Francisco Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Urtats in the 82nd minute of play. If Benjamin Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. chexico birds's Adan Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. chexico birds's Francisco Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Guter in the 93rd minute of play. When Mauricio Salvadore was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. In the 95th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Salvadore to maneuver through the defense.
