Estudiantes de La Plata's Prudencio Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Gutxi in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Estudiantes de La Plata booed when APOLO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Adolfo Quinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APOLO FC and the Estudiantes de La Plata players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, APOLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Quinto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the APOLO FC defense, Gaudencio Urtats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Millano. The APOLO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Millano should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Chuan in the 29th minute of the match. Gervasio Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gervasio Millano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Gutxi came free, but Prudencio Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Urtats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Millano. APOLO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaudencio Urtats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Urtats was the one to do the kick off. Prudencio Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Chuan in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Urtats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Millano was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Seguinus in the 59th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Prudencio Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Millano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Prudencio Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Chuan in the 81st minute of the match. Severo Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Gaudencio Urtats got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alonzo Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Prudencio Elizardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Gutxi. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Jonathan Gutxi made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Elizardo. Estudiantes de La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
