Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Capdeville's Blas Cheche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Americo Pereyra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capdeville's Severiano Nel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 9 minutes into the match, Narciso Martins notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gimnasia y Tiro's Luciano Rafe. Luciano Rafe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fabricio Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Savier in the 18th minute of play forced Gimnasia y Tiro's goalkeeper Luciano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Capdeville got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Nel. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabricio Sagrario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Demesio. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Tiburcio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Demesio having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Fabricio Sagrario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aldo Demesio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Epifanio Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tiburcio Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia y Tiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Abeitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tiburcio Abeitia in the 39th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Aldo Demesio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Celestino Laurin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aldo Demesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia y Tiro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When Tiburcio Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gimnasia y Tiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Abeitia couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Fabricio Sagrario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Severiano Nel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gimnasia y Tiro's Americo Pereyra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Abeitia in the 59th minute of play forced Capdeville's goalkeeper Aldo Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Abeitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Demesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Tiburcio Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia y Tiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Abeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mario Gonzalez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Fabricio Sagrario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Rafe. That made the score 4-2 in the 90 minute of play. Aldo Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Sagrario in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Gimnasia y Tiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
