After a rather tough play, Arroyito AFC's Casimiro Beltran got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of los pibes del rojo booed when Arroyito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Norino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Rafael Cordario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Flavio Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Orlanda having to interfere. Angelino Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 28 minutes, Valdemar Larsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arroyito AFC's Alfonso Orlanda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The los pibes del rojo fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when los pibes del rojo's Valdemar Larsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfonso Orlanda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Larsson's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Alfonso Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Orlanda was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Alvaro Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los pibes del rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Matias Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. los pibes del rojo's Amado Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelino Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Beltran hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Alfonso Orlanda stood somewhat misplaced when Valdemar Larsson came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 59 minute. The nice shot from Valdemar Larsson in the 64thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alfonso Orlanda had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 68th minute Valentin Sesuldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Norino in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Cordario saved los pibes del rojo from getting behind. Valdemar Larsson in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Orlanda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Arroyito AFC's Alfonso Orlanda got control of the ball when Valdemar Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
