When Diego Sosa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's protests and gave Diego Sosa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Eterno Retorno booed when LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Sosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Haviers short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Salvador Frichoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th match minute, Eterno Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Eterno Retorno getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Edgardo Froylan hit a great ball. If Celso Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucio Miliano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noh Red in the 20th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes, Edgardo Froylan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eterno Retorno and the LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Eterno Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Froylan to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes, Nuno Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS and the Eterno Retorno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgardo Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute Nuno Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's Noh Red suffered a concussion after 53 minutes and had to leave the field. Teobaldo Tohias's late challenge caught a LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Tohias helped the player get up and apologised. LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's Epifanio Frascuelo was substituted for Noh Red. After 54 played minutes Eterno Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Tohias. If Nuno Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes in the game, Nuno Hoffmann dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Edgardo Froylan struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Salvador Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eterno Retorno. Nuno Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lucio Miliano made a huge save. The supporters of LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS booed when Eterno Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuno Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute of the match, Nuno Hoffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucio Miliano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Epifanio Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eterno Retorno:s goal. The referee gave Eterno Retorno a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adan Havier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's Salvador Frichoso. 2-0. The supporters of LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS booed when Eterno Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Daniele fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 98th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Many of LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LOS TÓPITOS APESTOSOS may have spent more time on the ball, but Eterno Retorno were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
