Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Chap started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Astra FC's Ulises Roland seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulises Roland the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Astra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulises Roland had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, one of Astra FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astra FC. The referee gave Medina a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Godofredo Claris, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Astra FC's Ildefonso Blai. 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Eulalio Unai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medina the free kick. Serafin Monico struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ildefonso Blai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medina. After a rather tough play, Medina's Prospero Solustiano got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ildefonso Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ildefonso Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Chap in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Blai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafin Monico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Blai having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hector Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Hondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Cloyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ildefonso Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Medina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Ascencio to maneuver through the defense. Hector Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Cloyo having to interfere. Astra FC's Ildefonso Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Monico in the 42nd minute of play. Serafin Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ildefonso Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Chap in the 67th minute of the match. Ildefonso Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hector Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Laureano Chap fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ildefonso Blai, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Monico got free with Ildefonso Blai in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Medina's Raimundo Semeno got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Medina played a much better game than Astra FC and deserved their victory. The Astra FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
