Mário Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Marin having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Balboa's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Macedo came free, but Mario Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balboa's zone, Claudio Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Marin came out of the goal and Claudio Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balboa's Mario Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Berasko in the 20th minute of play. Mario Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Macedo in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Aureliano Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Matteo in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Ochi Dolci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Lano came free, but Nicanor Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Matteo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Lano to make the kick off. Nicanor Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Lano in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Balboa's Faustino Uhin got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ochi Dolci FC's Nicanor Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Lano in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Lano in the 60th minute of play forced Ochi Dolci FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Iker Matteo made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Marquez. Ochi Dolci FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Berasko in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Marin saved Balboa from getting behind. Mário Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Nicanor Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Goren in the 68th minute of play. Mario Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Claudio Berasko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Marin. Claudio Berasko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Balboa's zone, Mário Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Marin came out of the goal and Mário Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Lano in the 83rd minute of the match. Faustino Uhin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Balboa's Iker Matteo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Ochi Dolci FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Balboa.
