The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Castilla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ranchos:s goal. Cipriano Maiorga went to the wrong direction when Apolo Oto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Roano made a kick off. Daniel Tiadoro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cipriano Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ranchos's Matias Roano pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 55 minutes, Pancho Messi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castilla and the Ranchos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castilla getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pancho Messi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Ariando in the 61st minute of play forced Castilla's goalkeeper Cipriano Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Cugat hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cipriano Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Isaio in the 93rd minute of the match. Cipriano Maiorga came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranchos's Ezequiel Enaut. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Enaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ranchos had played much better football throughout.
