Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victor Cebo made the kick off and thus started the match. Robustiano Jakes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafin Tome in the 6th minute. Abelardo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Ekhi took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Bermudo. Eulalio Bermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adolfo Dayam charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Dayam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robustiano Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Cebo in the 19th minute of the match. When Victor Cebo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Cebo couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes Lazo got a freekick which was hit by Adriana Matxin. 30 minutes in the game, Victor Cebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robustiano Jakes having to interfere. Paulino Serafo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eulalio Bermudo. Lazo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, Abelardo Palos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Jakes having to interfere. Abelardo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazo were furious when Adriana Matxin was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Lazo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of municipal:s goal. Moises Cresenciano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 63rd minute Serafin Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Havier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eulalio Bermudo having to make a save. After 66 minutes, Hernan Magdaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the municipal and the Lazo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Lazo's Adolfo Dayam made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Jakes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafin Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes, Lazo's Hilario Aureo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robustiano Jakes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lazo reached it. Serafin Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Jakes having to interfere. The supporters of Lazo booed when municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Jakes had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Moises Dantel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The municipal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing municipal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
