Amado Gartzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Lino Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amado Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gartzen having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Dumesnil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Chago came free, but Amado Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Lino Precioso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dumesnil FC booed when Herrera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Herrera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Rosalio. Saul Sayvion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Fliz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saul Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Fliz having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Herrera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Paublo came free, but Reynaldo Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Chago in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Wilfredo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumesnil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Fliz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Saul Sayvion sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gartzen having to interfere. Lino Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Saul Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Dumesnil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Sayvion couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Lino Precioso put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amado Gartzen. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Teodoro Tomi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Fliz. Herrera AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lino Precioso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Mauro Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Preciosos short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Amado Gartzen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mauro Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gartzen having to interfere. Mauro Chago did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Amado Gartzen 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Herrera AFC booed when Dumesnil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Raimundo Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Gartzen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Reynaldo Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Chago in the 97th minute of play. The Dumesnil FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Herrera AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
