The Lynch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Cristos should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Etxekopar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Cristos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Etxekopar in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Cristos saved Lynch from getting behind. After having played for 34 minutes, Eugenio Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Golf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Tiburcio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Tiburcio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Tiburcio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Playo in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lynch's Pascual Chumo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Paulo Orlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Lixandro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With his leg Gualterio Cristos managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Defensores del Golf's Tiburcio Etxekopar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugenio Playo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Cristos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Gaston Lixandro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Orlin having to make a save. After 75 minutes, Florentino Lope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Golf and the Lynch players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Defensores del Golf:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lynch:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Etxekopar in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Cristos saved Lynch from getting behind. Gualterio Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tiburcio Etxekopar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gualterio Cristos made a huge save. Defensores del Golf played a much better game than Lynch and deserved their victory. The Lynch players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
