The Charqui AFC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Charqui AFC's Luis Olando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Charqui AFC's Gilberto Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Oliverios in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Anastasio Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Balaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Çağrı Cesur in the 43rd minute of play forced Charqui AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Oliverios in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Çağrı Cesur to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anastasio Oliverios reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Crescencio.
