With a left leg Matheus Romero saved Huanchillas from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Cristobal Victoro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Huanchillas's Matheus Romero. Matheus Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Victoro during the 28th minute. Huanchillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Victoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Rios was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Cristobal Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Muñoz got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Ekain. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Muñoz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
