Tumbaya AFC's Edgard Jayvier took a good shot, in the 17th minute, which hit the crossbar above Gonzalo Cai's head, and flew over the goal. Los Millos F.C's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Tumbaya AFC. If Eugenio Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Tumbaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Atarrabi. In the 24th minute, Tumbaya AFC's Eugenio Cortez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Natalio Corderro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Cai made a huge save. Tumbaya AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Jayvier in the 30th minute. Tumbaya AFC's Marcin Waselewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Pueblo in the 36th minute of play. Marcin Waselewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Orlando Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Tumbaya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Ihazintu came free, but Marcin Waselewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Cortez to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Millos F.C's Cristian Pueblo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcin Waselewicz. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. Gonzalo Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cortez in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Los Millos F.C's Cristian Pueblo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Los Millos F.C's Gonzalo Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Cortez in the 65th minute of play. Orlando Ihazintu had several of the Tumbaya AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Marcin Waselewicz as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute of the match, Cristian Pueblo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcin Waselewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute, Cristian Pueblo made a precise shot to the right of Marcin Waselewicz. Tumbaya AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Los Millos F.C fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Los Millos F.C's Cristian Pueblo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Cristian Pueblo notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Tumbaya AFC's Marcin Waselewicz. Marcin Waselewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Ihazintu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
