With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Ixona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Argentinos del Sur's Alonzo Romero in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Médano FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Médano FC defense, Dalmacio Osorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Simonetti. The Médano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Simonetti should have stopped the shot. In the 19th match minute, Argentinos del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Oriche to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Simonetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Simonetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Mogel in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alonzo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silvio Bermudezs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Luciano Ixona to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luciano Ixona was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Silvio Bermudez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvio Bermudez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 52 played minutes Médano FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Etxahun. After 55 minutes, Artemio Cefero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentinos del Sur and the Médano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Argentinos del Sur getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Artemio Cefero hit a great ball. Luciano Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Ramirez in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Médano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Romero came free, but Alberto Simonetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Alonzo Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentinos del Sur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Médano FC the free kick. A collision led to Argentinos del Sur getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Artemio Cefero hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Bermudez came free, but Luciano Ixona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Argentinos del Sur's Dalmacio Osorio made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Simonetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Argentinos del Sur made a substitution. David Lohitzun replaced Venancio Erroman. In the 86th minute David Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Simonetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, David Lohitzun put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Simonetti. Argentinos del Sur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
