But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Anaya couldn't finish the play. Romeo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Su in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Casimiro Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes, Everardo Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the Deportivo Draì players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Everardo Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Draì's Osvaldo Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Anaya in the 39th minute of play. Osvaldo Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When FC La Masia's Ceferino Anaya in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Osvaldo Nuxila guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theo de Witte was the one to do the kick off. FC La Masia's Romeo Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Su in the 57th minute of play. Fabian Dominic's late challenge caught a Deportivo Draì's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Dominic helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC La Masia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fabian Dominic hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Deportivo Draì was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Nuxila having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Anaya in the 78th minute of play forced Deportivo Draì's goalkeeper Osvaldo Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Nuxila having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Ceferino Anaya put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Nuxila. Rene Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Matia having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Theo de Witte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Matia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Theo de Witte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Romeo Matia firmly grabbed it by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Chico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Draì's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC La Masia the free kick. After 93 played minutes Deportivo Draì got a freekick which was hit by Damian Chico. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC La Masia had played much better football throughout.
