Yurucuá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Emilio Orkatz scored to the left of an out of position Florencio Fanuco, making the score, 1-0. La Guardia Imperial's Uuno Naaris was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Yurucuá's Damaso Tximitx got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Emilio Orkatz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florencio Fanuco, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Orkatz in the 21st minute of play forced Yurucuá's goalkeeper Florencio Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Yurucuá's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Jacindo came free, but Florencio Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alphonse Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. La Guardia Imperial's Alphonse Rochet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Goyo in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Bingen was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Fanuco having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Yurucuá's Jesus Bingen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alphonse Rochet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Yurucuá's Jesus Bingen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alphonse Rochet. That made the score 4-1 after 59 minutes of play. Benito Eder hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Emilio Orkatz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Fanuco. Florencio Fanuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Alphonse Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Florencio Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Orkatz in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Uuno Naaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Guardia Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Uuno Naaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Orkatz in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jesus Bingen could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Alphonse Rochet however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute of the match, Jesus Bingen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alphonse Rochet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Florencio Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Orkatz in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Christian Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Marcelo Polino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guardia Imperial and the Yurucuá players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcelo Polino hit a great ball. Arnulfo Dolcet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alphonse Rochet made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the La Guardia Imperial players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
