The Huascán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Illan should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Gutxi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Aristides Illan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazán. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Beat got free with Aristides Illan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alonzo Guillelme fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huascán's protests and gave Alonzo Guillelme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mazán booed when Huascán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Illan had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Moises Beat from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mazán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moises Beat in the 40th minute. In the 40th match minute, Mazán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Omar Kinsen struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. After 59 played minutes Mazán got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Frascuelo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Kinsen in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Chepe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Moises Beat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huascán's Aristides Illan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
