Filip Malewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dionísio Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Boca Junior's protests and gave Dionísio Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atletico Boca Junior getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dionísio Rosado hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Atletico Boca Junior booed when Mateicos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Nevada stood somewhat misplaced when Gervasio Chinto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. After 25 minutes, Gervasio Chinto made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mateicos F.C's Damaso Nevada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Malewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Cordara having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Gervasio Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Boca Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Boca Junior defense, Ernesto Conrao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Cordara. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Cordara should have stopped the shot. Dionísio Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Damaso Nevada made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Mateicos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Laurin to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Chinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Nevada was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Aquiles Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateicos F.C's Cesar Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Fausto Feo in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mateicos F.C's Hermengildo Laurin. Ernesto Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romeo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Malewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Maju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Cordara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Aquiles Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Nevada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Chinto's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
