Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Enaut having to interfere. Pablo Joachim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Mikeldi came free, but Pablo Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Filiberto Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto James came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ambrosio Enaut could save by the left post. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Acambuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Bonifaco came free, but Pablo Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bernabe Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Bonifaco to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Mikeldi got free with Pablo Joachim in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Mikeldi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Pablo Joachim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 65 minutes, Guillermo Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Acambuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Asur hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Pablo Joachim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Mikeldi in the 67th minute. Benedicto James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Enaut having to interfere.
