AS Roma's Bernardino Micael quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 6th minute of the match Natalio Bernabel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anibal Manuelo skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chatziioannou Veletzas got free with Anibal Manuelo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AS Roma booed when Juanchope FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Tender didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chatziioannou Veletzas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Manuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Anibal Manuelo managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when AS Roma's Camilo Bento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Bento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Anibal Manuelo 14 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, AS Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Egun to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 24 in the game by Camilo Bento from a close distance when the talented Anibal Manuelo managed to make a qualified save. Juanchope FC's players were relieved. 28 minutes into the match, Moises Endura notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AS Roma's Behzat Dadaloğlu. Behzat Dadaloğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anibal Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Bento in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juanchope FC's Moises Endura got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Klemensas Gegeckas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anibal Manuelo. Klemensas Gegeckas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Behzat Dadaloğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Phelipe in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Phelipe in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behzat Dadaloğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Juanchope FC's goalkeeper Anibal Manuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Ramirez. Anibal Manuelo was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Esteban Cambiasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Cambiasso really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Bento made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Florencio Munio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juanchope FC and the AS Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute Mario Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Juanchope FC defense, Camilo Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Manuelo. The Juanchope FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Manuelo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Endura got free with Behzat Dadaloğlu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juanchope FC's Anibal Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Ramirez in the 71st minute of play. If Edgard Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Juanchope FC's Edgard Phelipe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Juanchope FC made a substitution. Gonzalo Erasto replaced Maarek Ime. Behzat Dadaloğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AS Roma made a substitution. Adan Mikelar replaced Camilo Bento. AS Roma made a substitution. Jacobo Barrionuevo replaced Rolando Louis. 95 minutes into the match, Juanchope FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Anaya came free, but Anibal Manuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
