Leonides Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Mateusz Basaik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Higuera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ases Calientes:s goal. When Guillermo Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ases Calientes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Gartzea couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, one of Ases Calientes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ases Calientes. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Higuera FC's Rosendo Goren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mateusz Basaik. After a defensive mix-up in Higuera FC's zone, Guillermo Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Vachon came out of the goal and Guillermo Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Vachon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Higuera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ases Calientes:s goal. Higuera FC:s Jaime Vachon showed great skill when he stopped Manuel Etxahun:s penalty. In the 39th minute, Reynaldo Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rosendo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateusz Basaik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Udalaitz lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Higuera FC's Rosendo Goren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mateusz Basaik. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Higuera FC's Jaime Vachon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Higuera FC from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Alfredo Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Basaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Maximino Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ases Calientes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Eron charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Eron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute Leonides Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Basaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Egun's late challenge caught a Ases Calientes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Egun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Guillermo Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ases Calientes's Guillermo Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Ases Calientes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Higuera FC:s goal. In the 88th minute, Saul Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Tabby took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateusz Basaik. Mateusz Basaik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Alfredo Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ases Calientes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Higuera FC.
