After a defensive mix-up in Prosperosomos's zone, Primitivo Lalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Evangelista came out of the goal and Primitivo Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Primitivo Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batallón F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Lalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prosperosomos's Joel Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fulgencio Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batallón F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Galindo was slow to take the kick. During this time Prosperosomos's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Batallón F.C. booed when Prosperosomos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Toli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Batallón F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Prosperosomos were winning 0-1.

In the 85th minute, Anselmo Kaxen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uriel Gora. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Esteve Toli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batallón F.C.'s Uriel Gora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Primitivo Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Batallón F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Lalla couldn't finish the play. Prosperosomos's Joel Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prosperosomos were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Batallón F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Galindo took the corner. Prosperosomos's Ciro Galindo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uriel Gora in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Prosperosomos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
